I can't believe I am posting this...

So I am really embarrassed to post this, but I want to remember it later.

So Fast Sunday we were sitting in Sacrament meeting and Addi and Conner were drawing pictures, Addi asked me if I could draw a picture of our family ice skating. (please note I am far from an artist), so I proceeded to draw the below picture. When I gave it back to her for coloring she told me I was not quite finished. I asked what she wanted and she told me that I forgot the "boobies" I quietly tried to tell her that we do not talk about those and do not draw pictures of those. So she decided to draw them herself. I then took the picture away, and this is where it gets really embarrassing. She started screaming (remember we are in church) IT NEEDS THE BOOBIES, IT NEEDS THE BOOBIES, MOM'S HAVE BOOBIES.
I could not get her to stop, until I let her draw the boobies.
To make matters worse, Jon and all the surrounding bystanders could not stop laughing.
Apparently she thinks I ice skate topless or something.

If you can't tell I am the bottom ice skater!

Santa

Our annual Santa trip. We have to make the drive all the way to the Provo Town Center every year to see Santa. Conner firmly believes that the "real" Santa is of course the one with the train at it. So every year we have to hear him tell us and all the kids in line (at the other locations) that this is not the real Santa just a helper.

Conner was quick to rattle off his list to Santa, at the top is a Wii and a building train. And every time Santa would ask about other toys he would say "yes, one of those too."

Addi was a lot more quite, but nicely told Santa she wants a cat. I love watching Santa's face when she says a cat. Most (all) have thought she wants a real cat, but she just wants a toy cat, but it is funny trying to watch their reactions and them trying to think of an excuse.

We hope you all have a great Christmas, and hope Santa brings you all what you ask for.

Let the games begin

Rule 1: Beg and beg and beg to go out and play at 7am.
Rule 2: Spend 20 min. trying to find last years snow clothes and pray they still fit.
Rule 3: Take 20 more min. to get dressed and complain the whole time how you don't like it all.
Rule 4: Go out and play for a good 5-10 min.
Rule 5: Get cold and come in, make sure to track as much snow as you can with you.
Rule 6: Spend the next 10 min. taking it all off.
Rule 7: As soon as everything is off, start right back with rule #1.

Munchkin Christmas

This is what happens when you let muchkins decorate a Christmas tree....

Not only is only the bottom half of the tree decorated, the decorations are in "trains" as Conner called them it is ornaments hung on ornaments hung on ornaments making a long train.

What do you do?

We moved thing around in Conner's bedroom, and we found this message written on the wall behind his dresser.
How do you discipline a child when my husband is cheering him on for his message?

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We had a great year and made a haul on our candy, ok Conner made a haul on his candy but I am making him share with me.
This year we were separated for Halloween, Conner and Jon went to the Utah football game and went trick-or-treating at the stadium prior to the game. Conner was the lucky chosen one and was asked by Kyle Whittingham (the head coach) to go trick-or-treating with him. I think that is why the haul came in to play. He had lots of fun, but still has no idea who "that man" was that took him to get all that candy.

What a handsome fireman, doing his best fireman pose, don't know what he has seen with fireman posing, but he is my vote for Mr. July.

Conner and Swoop at the trick or treat party.

Addi and I went to Delta for the festivities and to see little Kyson. Those two are so funny together they love and hate each other all at the same time. They were the princess and the frog. And trust me Addi tried her hardest to turn the frog into a prince, she kept kissing, and kissing him, but still a frog.

I loved this picture, I think Kyson was not listening and Addi was telling him what to do.

What a beautiful princess, she was all dolled up and loved every min of it.

One more princess pose.

We had a great Halloween and the kids are already asking about next year and trying to figure out what to wear.

Scarecrow Festival

I am a little behind on blogging, but in October we went to the Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving point. It was a beautiful day and we had lots of fun, we were only planning on staying for an hour or 2, we finally left after 5 hours.

What cute scarecrows, I don't think these two would scare off much.

Addi loved the horse ride the best, thanks to Aunt Linda teaching her all the right ways to love horsies.

Posing by the big pumpkin.

This is the entrance to the kids haunted house, my kids loved it, we went through it over and over and over and over and, ok you get the point we went a ton.

There were lots of fun thing to do and see, we went on a million blow up toys over and over again, had lots of good treats, and had fun just being together.
